Summer Trips
Trip to Tennessee
This year, my summer trips became unforgettable artistic journeys filled with color, light, and inspiration. I began in Tennessee, setting up my easel among the rolling green hills and along the sparkling rivers of the Smoky Mountains. Painting under the open blue sky, I captured the warmth, movement, and beauty of nature in every brushstroke.

There is something truly magical about painting and drawing under the open blue sky. This summer in Tennessee, I felt the fresh air on my face, heard the whispers of the trees, and let the sunlight dance across my canvas. Plein-air painting is more than just creating art outdoors – it’s a conversation with nature. The colors seem brighter, the shadows deeper, and the inspiration endless. I believe every artist should experience this. Working in the open air teaches you to see differently, to feel the rhythm of the world around you, and to translate that energy into your work. For me, those moments under the sky are where art and life truly meet.
Summer Plein-Air Painting in Maine
My summer trips continued to the breathtaking coast of Maine, where I explored rocky shores, painted iconic lighthouses, and sketched beautiful boats in peaceful harbors. The salty breeze, shifting clouds, and vibrant coastal colors made each plein-air session come alive on my canvas.

Exploring in Virginia
These summer trips reminded me how important it is for every artist to experience plein-air painting—stepping outside the studio to connect deeply with the world. Each location left its unique mark on my art, making this summer a season I will treasure forever.
